American Idol

Anybody out there an American Idol fan? I haven't watched the show since season one when Kelly Clarkson won. In fact, ever since then I've been amazed that the show continued to be on tv. I didn't know anyone who watched it.

For some reason I started watching the auditions this season and man oh man. I am hooked!

I'm just going to be honest with you, watching Idol is probably the highlight of my workweek. I can hardly get through a Wednesday at work because I am so excited to watch that night's show.

I bet you'd be sucked into the show if you watched it. But you probably don't. Your mom probably watches... and maybe your 12 year old cousin. Your mom likes Joshua for his voice. Your mom is the only reason Joshua is still on the show. Your mom votes for him, doesn't she? Your 12yo cousin likes Phillip for his looks. I don't blame her. Apparently your cousin has good taste.

My fave: Phillip Phillips. He's from Georgia, he sounds like Dave Matthews, and he's easy on the eyes. I vote for him every week.

My other fave: Skylar Laine. Country singer with some giddy-up in her. She's just down right entertaining with her hopping and shaking around the stage. I also vote for her every week.
